lessons from 'SpongeBob SquarePants'

This is on NYDailyNews.com. This article is about a girl who saved who friend who was choking due to what she learned from an episode of Sponge Bob Square Pants.

Who knew that something could be learned from an underwater kitchen sponge who wears pants. The girl performed the Heimlich maneuver on her friend who was choking on a piece of bubble gum.

The girl remembered an episode in which Squidward swallowed his prized clarinet and Sponge Bob performed the Heimlich maneuver on his friend. Nice to know that something positive can be said and learned from a cartoon.

Maybe we might see more positive notes from cartoons in the future. It just might save a life.

  1. Hey, you wanna hear a joke I made up for my teenage kids about Sponge Bob? What do you call Sponge Bob when he's naked? Sponge Bob, Square Ass! Oh well.....

I never ever thought I'd see someone learn enough from the guy "who lives in a shell under the sea" to save a life. Way to go, Sponge Bob! But especially, way to go little girl for saving your friend' life. That's cool!
